Machu Picchu, Peru (1)

I had visited Machu Picchu once before (see the Peru 2002 photos),
and hadn't anticipated taking many more shots. But the site worked its
undeniable magic; plus I made it up for the sunrise this time; plus I took
a couple of long trails that afforded new angles (including the hike up Huayna
Picchu, the mountain that towers over the city in the classic view captured in
the sunrise shots); plus my camera was a lot better this time round. Hence,
two more galleries of one of the world's most unforgettable sights.
