View over Machu Picchu from Huayna Picchu (1)
When you look up at the ruins atop Huayna Picchu from the main
Machu Picchu site (refer to the sunrise shots in the previous gallery),
you can hardly believe a human being could make it up there. In fact,
the trail, though vertiginously steep, is not too terrifying -- but
the hike left me limping like an invalid for a couple of days.
