Caņon del Colca, Peru

Photos by Adam Jones

The Caņon del Colca is said to be the deepest canyon in the world, in
places reaching 3,400 metres (over 10,000 feet) in depth. The Inca-era terracing
of the fields is the most extensive anywhere in the former empire.
