Valle de la Luna (Valley of the Moon),
outside La Paz, Bolivia
Photos by Adam Jones
"It isn't a valley at all, but a bizarre, eroded, hillside maze
of canyons and pinnacles technically known as badlands. It lies 10km
down the canyon of the Río Choqueyapu from the city center. The desert-like
landscape and its vegetation inspire the imagination and invite exploration."
