All three of these sites are located on Santa Catarina Island,
up to an hour out of Florianópolis.
I.
Lagoa de Conceição
A large freshwater lake in the middle of the island. (While the
photo looks like it was composed with some care, in fact it was snapped
out the window of a speeding bus!)

Locals enjoying a beer or two on one of the island's prime surfing beaches.

Armação is a fishing village on the relatively unspoilt southern half
of the
Ilha de Santa Catarina.

These girls were spending the day touting a magazine promotion. What
they were doing in a village where they almost outnumbered the local population
is beyond me, but they weren't going to rest until I'd taken their photo!
